Sts. Martha and Mary
What a wonderful, wonderful homily today at d’Youville. Props to Deacon Mike. Sigh, I am so guilty of being such a Martha: always looking for things to do to feel productive and accomplished. Always keeping myself busy. I find it so hard to stay still and relax. I always feel guilty when I feel unproductive.
God’s definitely asking me to follow him, to pray so much more and to let God be God. Thanks for the reminder, Lord.
On another note, I love seeing friends and family at church. This is my definition of a true community, where we come in union in Christ.
